Tray 47×35 cm Raphaelesque

Large, hand-painted Faenza ceramic tray featuring a Raphael-style design. This is a one-of-a-kind piece: only this single example has been created with this particular design and shape.

The entire surface of the tray is painted with elaborate, miniature motifs. We can see motifs reminiscent of Raphael’s style, cornucopias, and branching patterns with stylized floral elements, and, within the medallions, colorful blossoms inspired by hops.

Painted in delicate colors with all spaces filled in with blue, the entire design is framed by a beautiful border featuring interlacing leaves.

Dimensions of the Raphael-style tray: 47 x 35 cm.
