The “Penna di Pavone” (peacock feather eye) decoration dates back to the fifteenth century, so it is one of the oldest ceramic styles of Faenza. Characterized by bright colors and slender shapes, the harmony of the design is accompanied by a particularly deep meaning: the peacock feathers symbolize the eternal life and immortality of the soul.
