Madonna and Child 30 cm

Madonna with Child hand-painted on ceramic in relief, with the Virgin Mary holding the blessing Baby Jesus.

The image is freely inspired by the Byzantine Madonnas of medieval art and sees the Virgin and Baby Jesus wrapped in soft draperies painted with the bright colors of majolica, thus giving a touch of modernity to an ancient iconography.

Dimensions of the Madonna with Child: base 19 cm, height 30 cm, thickness 3 cm.
