Immaculate Conception 34.5 cm

A relief-style ceramic Madonna, entirely hand-molded and hand-painted according to the traditional technique of Faenza.

It depicts the Madonna of the Immaculate Conception, following classic iconography: a “woman clothed with the sun,” with her head crowned by stars and wearing a celestial-blue mantle, shown in the act of trampling a serpent—a symbol of original sin.

The plaque is finished along the edges with a border featuring colors and tones that evoke the Faenza tradition.

Dimensions of the Immaculate Conception plaque: width 22 cm; height 34.5 cm; thickness 3 cm.

Note: The white glints visible on the majolica are due to light reflections during photography.
